OBT was present at 51st annual legislative conference, Hosted by The New York State Association of Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic & Asian Caucus. The mission of the NYSABPRHAL conference was to engage New York State residents of color into a dialogue about issues and policies that have an impact on their daily lives and their communities. This year’s theme was “Moving forward with a demand for Democracy”, where OBT was able to contribute in conversations around enhancing equitable distribution of wealth, closing disparities in the educational system and breaking glass ceilings that disrupt Diversity & Inclusion within the Work Force, to name a few.
