TechSTART Program: Cloud Support Engineering

Program Details

Have you ever run out of space on your phone? Or visited a website to see that it’s down? As a Cloud Support Engineer, your job will be to help people and companies solve problems by creating and managing cloud file storage accounts.

Our TechSTART program is back just in time for the 2019-2020 program year! What started as web and coding principles is now cloud support engineering. This program is aimed at students who are interested in tech, have the desire  to learn, and are ready for a great opportunity!

No prior tech experience is required! Our organizational mission is grounded in education and training: both of which each person will receive from our experienced teaching staff. Program participants will learn how cloud computing works (both for big companies and small homes), different operating systems, and a variety of programming languages!

Likewise, students will be instructed by OBT staff on workplace development skills: how to tackle any problem, communicate effectively, work in a team, and manage time.

Upon completion of the 12-week program, participants will receive assistance with job placement assistance, advanced training and/or support with college admittance.

Next cohort starts September 3rd, 2019!
