Welcome Valued Members of the OBT community,

I am thrilled to share with you that our 40th-anniversary celebrations are still ongoing, and we are incredibly grateful for the support we have received from our community. It has been four decades since we began our mission of empowering individuals and communities through education and career development, and we remain committed to providing the best services possible.

As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we also recognize the significance of April as Arab American Heritage Month and Stress Awareness Month. We recognize the importance of diversity and inclusion and are committed to celebrating the rich culture and contributions of Arab Americans to our country and beyond.

To celebrate Arab American Heritage Month, we are sharing ways to honor and celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of Arab Americans. You can learn about the history of Arab Americans, support Arab American-owned businesses, and celebrate with traditional Arab cuisine.

We understand that stress can significantly impact individuals’ lives, and we are committed to providing resources and support to our community members who may be struggling. In recognition of Stress Awareness Month, we share 40 ways to reduce stress. Our tips include mindfulness exercises, spending time in nature, and making time for self-care.

At Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow, we are proud of our impact on many individuals’ lives. Our commitment to creating pathways to success for all members of our community, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, has remained strong. We remain committed to providing the highest quality of services to our community members and supporting them in achieving their goals.

Thank you for being a part of our community and your continued support. We look forward to continuing our mission of empowering individuals and communities for many more decades to come.

Yours in Service,
Dr. Darlene Williams
