Worksite & Intake Associate – Bushwick

OBT seeks an energetic, highly organized professional to join our Bushwick, Brooklyn location. This team member will play a critical role in supporting program staff and participants, primarily in our OBT Bushwick Intern & Earn program, which serves Opportunity Youth (17-24 years old). The Associate will have a range of responsibilities including but not limited to program intake, data entry, worksite monitoring and reporting, timesheet collection, and general office support. The Worksite & Intake Associate is an ideal position for entry-level professionals who have excellent skills working with young adults and are interested in further developing their administrative and program experience.

Scope of Work:
We are seeking a part-time temporary team member to work 20 (primarily daytime) hours per week. The successful candidate has exceptional detail orientation, excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability/willingness to travel across all five boroughs. The day to day will be a mix of program intake, worksite visits, data entry, and general office support. An ideal team member will be highly organized, enthusiastically mission driven and eager to grow and develop themselves, OBT Programs and the participants. The ideal candidate will be committed to a model of high expectations with high levels of support and believe in the power of education and meaningful employment to change the life trajectory of young adults.
Bachelor’s Degree, or enrolled in college/graduate program; strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well with all stakeholders; ability to work well independently and as part of a diverse interdisciplinary team; interest in developing innovative ways to achieve compliance and strengthen program in a workforce development setting.
