Reporting to the Vice President, Programs, the Senior Director of Programs directly supports programming, supervising and coaching Program Directors, monitoring program efficacy and compliance, and managing program relationships with key funders, particularly the Department of Youth and Community Development.  A critical element of this role is the continuation of processes and capacity building that effectively marry data analysis and programmatic decision-making, in service of building a culture of continuous improvement.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  1. Master’s degree in Statistics, Social Work, Data Management, Public Administration, Social Services, or combination of alternate degree and relevant experience.
  2. At least five years’ experience with complex data reporting, interpretation, and communication of findings, preferably in a social services or non-profit setting.
  3. Experience with developing and monitoring performance outcome measurements and metrics.
  4. Strong understanding of how to support staff in distinguishing technical from adaptive solutions to challenges.
