Gehan Dabare is the Managing Director and Global Head for Identity & Access Management at Citigroup. He is a member of the Chief Information Security Office leadership team.
Prior to joining Citigroup Gehan was a senior member of the Enterprise Cyber Security organization at MUFG Bank of Tokyo. During his career Gehan has successfully led global information security initiatives in several Fortune 100 firms such as, J.P. Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust.
Gehan has completed post graduate work at University of Pennsylvania at the Wharton Business School focusing on Leading Change and International Leadership at the Fuqua Business School at Duke University. Gehan is a graduate of the Lubin School of Business, PACE University with an MBA dual majoring in Finance & Information systems and Bachelor of Science with dual majors in Applied Mathematics and Information Systems from Stony Brook University. He is SANS – GIAC, ISACA – CISA, CISM, CDPSE, ISC2 – CISSP, CCSP, Amazon Web Services Certified and has earned his PMI – PMP.
Outside of his role at Citigroup, Gehan currently serves on the Board of Directors for Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow, a non-profit organization established to break the cycle of poverty and inequality through education, job training, and employment. The organization’s mission resonated with Gehan as a first generation immigrant to the United States he understands the power and importance of education and mentorship and their impact on career and life. He mentors for APIA Scholars, students at Baruch College, Pace University and the University of Pennsylvania.
Gehan is married with two children and lives in New Jersey. He is an avid photographer, reader and enjoys vacation travel.
