Gehan Dabare is a member of the Enterprise Information Security leadership team at MUFG and joined in 2016 as the head of Identity and Access Management.
Gehan joined MUFG with prior and diverse experience at J.P. Morgan where he was the Executive Director leading the Enterprise Access Administration Organization and Global Head of Controls & Governance for I&AM. Gehan also has experience with AVI – SPL where he built out the International Operations for the firm; Goldman Sachs, as a Vice President of Workplace Technology Services; Deutsche Bank, serving as Vice President of Risk Management and Global Head of Workflow Systems and with Bankers Trust as an Assistant Vice President.
Gehan has completed post graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania at the Wharton Business School focusing on Leading Change and in International Leadership at the Fuqua Business School at Duke University. Gehan is a graduate of the Lubin School of Business, PACE University with an MBA Dual Major – Finance & Information systems and Bachelor of Science Dual Major in Applied Mathematics and Information Systems from Stony Brook University. He is SANS – GIAC, ISACA – CISA, CISM, ISC2 – CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Certified and has earned his PMI – PMP.
Gehan, grew up in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and first came to the United States as a foreign student. Gehan is married with two children and lives in New Jersey. Gehan is an avid Photographer, Reader and enjoys leisure travel. He mentors for APIA Scholars, PACE University, University of Pennsylvania and Baruch College. Gehan has a passion and need to contribute to solving the big problems of our age like hunger, education, employability and is always looking for ways in which he may contribute.
