Frank Morizio, Jr., CLTC, LUTCF

Frank has served on the Board of Directors since 2000, and was elected Chairman in 2002.  He successfully led a small but committed board through a $1M+ expansion in 2002, and the tragic loss of our Founder and Executive Director in 2005.  As a hands-on leader, he helped to maintain program performance, managed 2 Interim Executive Directors and kept Private Foundation funding levels intact during an 18-month period of uncertainty.  Frank personally led the team that searched for and hired a new Executive Director in 2006 who increased the services delivered to the community by over 200% in his first 3 years. The Board more than doubled in size during the 2-year period following the transition as a result of targeted outreach and focused recruiting.

In early 2011, Frank retired as Chairman and the Board conferred the honorary title of Chairman Emeritus on him in recognition of the 9 years of dedicated service in that role.  Later that year he was featured in National Underwriter Magazine’s Industry Elite Awards Issue as their Best Rising Star.

At OBT’s 2013 Summer Soiree, Frank was honored as the 3rd recipient of the Sister Mary Youth Builder Award which recognized his dedication to workforce development.

Frank’s strong belief in service began when he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1990.  Currently, he is the Vice President of Marines of New York, Inc. a not-for-profit organization that helps transitioning veterans and also volunteers as a team leader and registered bone marrow donor for the BeTheMatch Foundation (

His service foundation led him to a career in the financial industry where he is a seasoned Managing Director at The Hotaling Group ( with over 19 years of insurance sales experience.  Frank has earned a Fellowship from the Life Underwriter’s Training Council (LUTCF), is Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC), and is currently enrolled in the Disability Income Fellow (DIF) program.  Armed with superior technical knowledge, Morizio creates insurance solutions for the most discerning clients.
